Our success lies in industry factors that have been studied and analysed over the past six years:
- Individuality: The choice of location and individual operating style varies dramatically and needs to be catered for. Brand awareness has been found to be area bound, average income potential is important and the local industrial culture (ie. farming vs. mining) needs to be considered.
- Multi-branded stores. Multiple options eliminate the possibility that a potential customer needs to buy from your opposition although stock costs are slightly higher. Options create demand and the moment you cut down on the options, you effectively cut down on your customer base. Most of the other concepts demand a very high percentage of sales in their own brand preference as they need to promote their own product. Some dictate as high as sixty percent whilst they only have a market share in the low teens. You are not losing the remaining forty percent of the market, but rather the remaining eighty percent.
- The future of the Industry points towards the franchise-based concepts as suppliers have been attracted to volume-based negotiations. The sole operator will soon find himself isolated as the franchisors have tied up the suppliers in lucrative volume-based agreements that exclude the individual trader. We ourselves come from that sole trader background but were driven to develop our own model due to the above reasons.
- The last leg of our success, we believe, is to join an existing family with a wealth of knowledge and recourses, rather than a board of directors that will dictate the last bit of entrepreneurial skill out of you. No name other than your own will ensure your success.

Wheel Warehouse will develop an inventory of unique products on an ongoing basis that will add value to these products, as well as supplying existing known branded products already in distribution by South African companies (manufactures and importers). Wheel Warehouse also aims to stock an entire range of unique and in-house products that will be exclusively available through our franchised outlets. Exciting products, which will further be negotiated on a national level, ensuring maximum discounts that will translate into higher profits.
Wheel Warehouse undertakes to provide its franchisees with a comprehensive franchise system that will enable each franchisee to maximise their success. By placing emphasis on service and support and backing this up with excellent training, we plan to develop Wheel Warehouse to become a household brand name. We also emphasise relationships, a tactic which markets the company instead of only the products.
Our mission is to keep on servicing the motorist with a wide range of products as we have done for the past 46 years. And we are now taking our expertise and products and offering it on a national basis to our franchisee base.
